Truss Day at the Rotary/WRVC House

At WRVC, hands-on learning is at the heart of everything we do, and "Truss Day" is a shining example of how our students turn classroom lessons into real-world applications.

The first picture shows students as they stand beneath a massive truss suspended by a crane, eagerly awaiting the moment to secure it into place—a true display of teamwork and anticipation. The second picture shows two students hard at work, attaching the truss to the crane's hook, a pivotal step in the day's construction process. Finally, our dedicated instructors meticulously review blueprints, ensuring every detail aligns with precision and safety standards.

This experience not only sharpens students' technical skills in construction and blueprint reading but also builds their confidence as future professionals in the trades. Events like "Truss Day" showcase the incredible opportunities available in Career and Technical Education and highlight the collaborative spirit that makes learning at WRVC so dynamic and rewarding.
