Westbrook Middle School

In case you missed it, Assistant Principal Pattie Demaria and student Trinity Boxill presented to the School Committee at their last meeting about the work our Student Equity Leadership Group has been doing.  This group has been facilitated by our Equity Resources Coordinator Amanda Atkinson-Lewis and Jose Bou of Great Schools Partnership.  Seventh and eight grade students meet every other week to learn more about themselves as students at WMS and to help us consider their learning experiences with an eye towards equity and equitable practices.  We are so proud that WMS is a welcoming and inclusive school and our students are the reason why.  Thank you Pattie and Trinity for helping to shine a light on the great work we are doing at WMS!
