Good afternoon,
Tomorrow wraps up our Spirit Week. We are allowing students to wear costumes to school tomorrow. Please know that many students will not be wearing costumes and it is certainly not a requirement of any kind. A couple of important reminders:
- Costumes must be school appropriate (meeting the dress code as outlined in the Student and Family Handbook)
- No inflatable costumes as they are not safe on the bus or in the hallways and stairways
- Must not include any weapons or fake weapons
- Should allow for freedom of movement as students will be engaging in the usual classroom learning activities
- Should not have anything that would be a tripping hazard as students will be walking up and down stairs in crowded stairways
- No masks or anything that covers up the student's face
- Students will not be allowed to carry any bags as part of their costumes
