Hello Families,
Last week, the Westbrook Police Department presented to our staff about school safety. This included conversations about lockdowns, and specific things that teachers can do to ensure the safety of students in the event of a lockdown at our school.
To be honest, these can be scary conversations, but they are necessary. Teachers are also having frank and grade-appropriate conversations with students about what to do in these events.
