In the 6th grade, we've been working to implement a positive behavior recognition program to recognize our students who come to school everyday and do great things. Guided by our principles of being responsible, respectful, and safe, teachers give students a ticket when they catch them doing something that exemplifies these principles. Ten names are drawn each week, 5 names from each team, and students are able to redeem a prize of their choice such as a free a la carte item, lunch with friends or a teacher, or a ride with our SRO in his police car. We look forward to continuing this program and highlighting the great things that our 6th grade students are doing every day.
