I want to invite students to request a tag from me for Friday January 6 to learn about an exciting opportunity to participate in Pihcintu, a Multinational Girls Chorus which performs all over the country. This would be a small group to rehearse weekly at WHS and be integrated into the larger group for performances.
"...the chorus has performed for over 300,000 live and hundreds of millions via broadcast and internet media including the Today Show, National Public Radio, Voice of America, Al Jazeera, Univision, UN TV and You Tube. They have appeared at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Washington DC, The National Cathedral, Washington, DC and the United Nations, New York, New York to name but a few of the venues. Over the course of time over 300 girls representing 40 countries have passed through the chorus with 100% high school graduation and 85% post-secondary education."

The Seal of Biliteracy Award Exam will be on January 26. It can be Spanish, French, Latin, Portuguese, Arabic, German or Sign Language languages.
Mrs. Epelde is offering herself for practicing Spanish and Portuguese exams some days after school from 2:30 to 3:30 PM.
First practice day will be THURSDAY 1/5 at 2:30 PM in my classroom #111.
