The Civil Rights Team is back!
School should be a place where everyone feels safe and respected for who they are. Unfortunately, things happen so that not everyone feels this way. Things include common attitudes and behaviors, and some of these things specifically affect individuals based on race skin color, nationality religion, disabilities, gender and sexual orientation. These are civil rights issues!
To ensure that EVERYONE feels safe, welcome and respected in school we need to TALK about these issues! If this is of interest to you please send an e-mail to hodgel@westbrookschools.org as I am gearing up for the new year.
The Chess Club will meet on Thursday from 2:30-3:30.
