Westbrook High School

Last Friday, WHS celebrated a Day of Culture. Students were excited to don traditional clothing, and some even brought in flags from their home countries. It was a very colorful and inclusive day of celebration. During our ACE period, students went around the building to find the flags of their home countries and take selfies in front of them. We also gave everyone (staff and students) the opportunity to represent their families' origins by sticking pins in the world map in the main entry. It was a meaningful and fun ACE activity and certainly something to build on in the years to come!
