Westbrook Elementary Schools Announce…
A Practice Bus Run and Kindergarten Orientation!
You and your child will have an opportunity to practice riding the bus together on Thursday, September 1st.
Your child’s first day of school is the following week on Tuesday, September 6th!
The Westbrook Transportation Department sponsors a practice bus run before the kindergartners start school. This year, the practice bus run is on September 1st. Upon arriving at school on the 1st, there will be an orientation during which your child will meet his or her teacher and see the kindergarten classroom. An adult must accompany each kindergartner on the practice bus ride.
If your child will not be riding the bus, you are still invited to attend the orientation.

When: Thursday, September 1st, 2022
Where: Canal, Congin, and Saccarappa
Bus Pick-Up Time: Bus times and stops will be posted to our district website in mid/late August. After checking the website, if you have further questions please contact the Transportation Office at 854-0807. The practice runs on September 1st will follow the same schedule - just one hour later than the regular time. Please be at the bus stop 10 minutes early.
